Now, a few projects later, I am bursting with pride to show you another success.
PILLOW COVERS!!
See the simple slipcover overlap? |

I realize that many of you could sew pillow covers in your sleep but nevertheless, I will continue to give myself rockstar props.
Am I ready to step it up in difficulty? Anyone need a wedding dress? Actually, I think I'll go hem a skirt that is too long for my short body...

Way to go, Lindsay! That is great. I too am not great at sewing but am excited when something I attempt turns out so well.
The photo looks right out of a magazine. Good job! And watching you fly out of your chair with excitement when I opened that present on Christmas was PRICELESS!!
K. You clearly need to come design my entire home. And make slipcover pillows for me. And pajama pants. And motivate me to run. And...it keeps going. Pretty much you are a rock star. I'm a fan :)
Will you come make my house look as cool as yours?...
Simply BEAUTIFUL! Now, for Christmas (or Mother's Day), I'd like........
Love the pillows Lindsay !! Love the pic you have above your beautiful couch :)
Awesome! Love the slip cover idea so you can wash them and change them out with the seasons or whatever. Love the fabric. It goes so well with your picture and rug, both of which I love too.
Thanks for the compliments ladies! And while I really like my pillows I'm getting frustrated with the room overall. It's all a bit TOO matchy-matchy for my taste. What to do?
Um, send it all to my place and start over. Duh...
Haha! I just picked up a book from a lady at church about sewing pillow covers and curtains! I'm so excited to start learning how to make them. Now all I need is a sewing machine... ;)
