Wednesday endorphins

This morning I joined my mom (who is an awesome conversationizer) on her 14 mile run.  Thanks to the occasional walking break (and a quick stop into the glorious DQ) I finished feeling GREAT.  GREAT!!

side note:  There is nothing like a HOT shower after a long run.  nothing.

Now if you're an avid runner, or a casual runner, or have ever thought of running, or have never thought of running WATCH THIS-

I cried a little.

 Then wrote this post.

Thanks Ellen, for posting this video on *your blog*.

And thanks Mom, for ...everything.   (including *your blog*!)

YES, I LOVE this!! I saw it on Facebook awhile back, and it's a big part of what helped me start getting back into shape over the Fall.

I re-watch this video from time to time and I never fail to get misty-eyed. Thanks for the link back!

I really liked that video. I still can't imagine running that far but admire those who do!

Thank you!! You make something that would otherwise be long and miserable into something fun. And I re-watched the video and cried again.

HI Kara!! I'm so glad you commented. I remember seeing your blog ages ago, before I started one and then I forgot about it. SO I've added you to my bloglist!
I say, if your knees give you trouble try the barefoot style of running. It has fixed my sore hips problem. My mom also likes Chi-running. Try 'em out!
